Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Brinqo, Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use brinqo.app or the Brinqo competitive intelligence service.

Effective Date

Effective August 29, 2026. This Privacy Policy is operated by Brinqo, Inc. If you do not agree with this policy, do not submit information through the website or use the service.

Categories of Information We Collect

We collect identifiers and contact information you provide, such as your name and email address; professional and business information, such as agency name, agency website, named competitors, and messages; commercial and account information associated with a subscription; and internet or device information, such as basic request logs, IP address, browser type, and timestamps. Payment card details are handled by the applicable payment processor and are not stored by Brinqo.

Public Competitive Information

To prepare reports, Brinqo collects publicly available information about the organizations a customer asks us to monitor, including public website, pricing, hiring, product, and marketing changes. Brinqo does not seek access to private competitor systems or non-public competitor data.

Sensitive Information

Brinqo does not intentionally request sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not submit government identifiers, precise geolocation, financial account credentials, health information, biometric data, or other sensitive information in a snapshot request or message.

Cookies and Online Tracking

This website uses only technical storage needed to remember your theme preference. It does not use advertising cookies or permit third parties to collect personal information about your activities over time and across unrelated websites. Brinqo does not sell personal data or process it for targeted advertising or qualifying automated profiling. Because those activities are not performed, there is no separate sale or targeted-advertising opt-out on this site; Brinqo will honor applicable universal opt-out preference signals if those practices are introduced.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to requests, provide and improve the service, prepare competitive briefs, maintain security, prevent abuse, process subscriptions, comply with law, and communicate about the service. We do not use customer-submitted confidential information to train generalized AI models without permission.

Information Sharing

We may disclose identifiers, contact information, commercial information, and technical information to service providers that support hosting, security, email delivery, customer communications, analytics that we elect to enable, and payment processing. These are the categories of third parties to which personal data may be disclosed. They may use it only to provide services to Brinqo or as required by law. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets. Brinqo does not sell personal data.

Data Retention

We retain inquiry records for up to 24 months, customer records for the duration of the relationship and up to 24 months afterward, and transaction or legal records for the period required by law. We may keep de-identified information and public competitive evidence that no longer identifies a customer.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Brinqo extends the following choices to all U.S. users, including Delaware residents: request confirmation of processing and access to personal data; correct inaccuracies; delete personal data; obtain a portable copy; obtain a list of the categories of third parties to which personal data has been disclosed; and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying automated profiling. Brinqo does not currently perform the three opt-out activities. Brinqo will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Requests, Verification, and Appeals

Submit a request or an authorized-agent request by emailing admin@brinqo.app. No new account is required. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity or an agent's authority. We will respond without undue delay and generally within 45 days, subject to an extension permitted by law. To appeal a denied request, email the same address with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to an appeal within 60 days. If a Delaware appeal is denied, you may contact the Delaware Department of Justice at privacy@delaware.gov.

Security and International Processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet service is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate, subject to appropriate contractual and legal protections.

Children

The service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or law. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date when a material change is made.
